Terms of service

These terms apply to every inspection we carry out. Each report also sets out its own scope and limitations.

Scope of an inspection

• Inspections are visual and non-invasive, covering the areas we can safely access on the day.
• We do not move furniture, lift floor coverings, open walls or test services unless agreed in writing.
• Areas we cannot access are listed in the report.
• A report records the condition at the time of inspection. It is not a warranty or a guarantee.

Bookings and payment

• Prices include GST. Single inspections are paid at booking; packages may be paid upfront or per stage.
• Please give at least 24 hours' notice to change or cancel a booking.
• If we cannot get access at the agreed time because of the property owner or builder, a rebooking fee may apply.

Use of the report

The report is prepared for the client named on it. It may be shared with your builder, the seller's agent, your lender or your lawyer for the purpose it was ordered for.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
